At TVision, when we’re not geeking out on TV performance metrics - we spend a lot of time around the office talking about TV. So it should come as no surprise that we’ve been a bit obsessed with the 71st Emmys over the past few weeks.
In fact, we were so excited about the Emmys that we decided to see if we could use some of our data - about how people really watch TV - to predict the winners. For the past 7 weeks, our Customer Analytics & Data Science team took over our Twitter’s “Fun Fact Friday” for 7 weeks to predict our favorite 7 categories.
How did we do it? We used a proprietary mix of TV performance metrics - historical and real-time - as well as good old-fashioned informed opinion and heated debate. So here’s what we predicted...
