As baseball season kicks off, we are watching to see how our favorite teams fare on the diamond, but we will also be watching to see how MLB fares on the TV. LA Daily News sports columnist JP Hoornstra took a look at TVision's attention data to understand how the pandemic, and its shortened baseball season, which was played in empty stands, impacted TV viewership. The results show that while overall viewership was lower, fans that did tune in paid higher attention in 2020 than they did in 2019.
